Meet The Face Behind AS/F Contracting

I’m Shawn Ashton, the proud owner of AS/F Contracting.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

My father started his contracting business over twenty-five years ago, specializing in landscaping and excavating. After he sadly passed on, I took on the mantle of running the business. Initially, I felt I was not up to the challenge, as my father’s expert craftsmanship had left big boots to fill.

I eventually managed to cope with the weight of expectation and continued to grow the business in a way that I know would have made him proud. He believed in good old fashioned values such as honesty and hard work, which I have maintained to today.

Over the past couple of years, I have noticed that modern equipment has made specific home improvement processes more efficient. Despite more players entering the market, I have managed to accomplish complex projects for clients that other companies may have turned down.

I believe what gives me the edge is my quality products and services. I am also a firm believer in customer service and enjoy witnessing clients smile after I have successfully transformed the look of their properties.

Adding new dimensions, while adhering to my clients’ brief has attributed to my success and has filled me with satisfaction. I thoroughly enjoy my job and the financial independence that comes with being the boss.

When I’m not busy with projects, it allows some time for leisure, so every once in a while I like to travel abroad and take in new sites which gives me relaxation and fresh perspectives.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
